New season = New Medium

I’m so proud of myself for creating my first mixed media installation inspired by the “What is a Garden: Connection, Memory, and Creativity” program cohosted by ISGM x Pao Arts Center.

In many ways, I’ve been cultivating this medium for over 15 years without even realizing it— through scrapbooking, collage-making, vision board parties with friends, and esp that era during lockdown when I turned my bedroom wall into a giant bulletin board (she ate that 🤏🏾). All of those moments led me here.

This piece feels like the beginning of something new, and I’m excited to keep experimenting with different themes, concepts, and spaces. I will be showcasing my second installation, which I’ve been dreaming up for the past two years, in a group show this fall. So you will be able to see the work up close and personal, interact with it, and join the conversation. AH I’M SO EXCITEDDD 🫨 More to come!
