This Is My Archive invites students to create a personal collection of the people, places, colors, memories, and little things that make their lives meaningful. Across three sessions, students will decorate their own archive box and begin filling it with handmade pieces that tell the story of who they are and what they love.

Using paint, markers, collage images, and other materials, they create a visual representation of a color they love.
This is my favorite person
Students create a small mixed-media portrait of a person they love or admire. They can draw, paint, collage, or use words and symbols to represent them.
This is my favorite place
Students create an archive card inspired by a place they love. Through drawing, painting, collage, and writing, students capture what makes that place special.
